Highly Trained for Decommissiong Demands

Rope access provides a safe and efficient way to support the decommissioning of offshore oil and gas platforms. Our highly trained, SPRAT and IRATA-certified technicians can reach difficult areas of a platform without the need for extensive scaffolding or traditional access equipment. Using specialized cutting techniques, our crews carefully dismantle piping, equipment, and structural components into manageable sections for safe removal by crane and transfer to a barge. An important part of this process is weight shedding, where smaller components and unnecessary materials are removed first to reduce the overall weight of larger structures. This allows for safer, more efficient lifting operations while maintaining the platform's structural stability throughout the decommissioning process. By combining rope access expertise with careful planning and controlled removal methods, we help make offshore decommissioning projects safer, more efficient, and cost-effective.
